Artist-God

The clouds yesterday was in beautiful formation. All the way on the bus from home to the city I could not take my eyes off the sky. On the left side of this photo the rain clouds is slowly moving in. I took this less then an hour before the down pour. The sun appears to be shinning through the clouds in magnificent light and we owe this beauty to the wonders of the artist-God

Adaption of Life

Hahaha...just warming up. here is an abstract that I call adaption of life....you will only be seeing this here cause it would be in my private collection-my testing collection.

Adaption of Life- the green and red represent the beauty of the earth and the black represent the modern invasion or human invasion that adapts it self to the beautiful world and slowly spreading.

Twins Perhaps

At a retreat over the weekend I came across beautiful white daisies or garberas. The have always been my favourite flowers and over at Bundu Tuhan they seem to be growing abundantly.

Among the single garbera I found 2 together. Twins perhaps.....

Another subject?

Boy when I found a subject to draw I found another one right in the city I don't know if you can see her. A little girl playing with her umbrella in the rain. She was very angelic like, the way she plays with the umbrella without noticing passer by as if she is in a world of her own...natural for a kid...unforutnately I shot this with my handphone camera so I was not able to focus and get a better photo....haiya.....
better luck next time.

Part Time Job

Dear Art Diary,

I have done some work in the past working with different media and subjects so below are my work that I have done with Red Henna and Black Henna, temporary tattoos. This is my part time income making work of art. Although the art that I have made are not original but I have given my twist on the original version. The designs I copied or I've reinterpret with my style are taken and found from the Internet and other research and books outside the net. Hope you enjoy it ;)

Black Henna - Not everyone skin can take black henna. If your skin can't take it you will have a itching and burning sensation and blister looking ta too the next day. Don't panic cause the old time 'minyak batu' does the trick and the old mother's tale of no seafood, egg etc... Doesn't matter whether your skin is sensitive or not we may get it and you may not. To find out do a test first.

The Lizard - a mix of red and black henna. Black henna stain really easy it just take 15 minutes to dry (as long as you don't sweat alot). This may last a whole week or two then slowly fades off. The red henna however takes a longer time to stain (hours) when you remove the paste it will normally be more darker red in colour on the 2ND day and it doesn't stay long maybe around 4 to 5 day it will start to fade off.

Red Henna - Unfortunately this photo was taken in black and white but even if it's not the ink or paste looks dark when applied or when it is slowly drying but after a few hours voila you have red stain. I like using this one cause it's safe and natural henna is good for the skin. I use red henna to treat my black henna scar too.

Me in action

Only by request I do black henna. Depending on the design I can draw out with henna 5 to 20 minutes. I have more pictures to show you but I have to find them first. These are just a few that I have not downloaded into CD yet.

Subjects that I have captured

Dear Art Diary,
Below are some photos that I have taken and experimented with a digital camera some are so hard to capture cause I had to get down on my chest (yes not knee but chess). Unfortunately I wasn't able to get down low enough to get good focus...enjoy any how....

A hen eating rambutan at Babagon, Penampang.

Jambatan Gantung at Kasigui, Donggongon.

'Tree-sky'

HHHHHHHmmmmmmmmmm entalah but I know I penat sudah download gambar later lah ....

Which one?

Dear Art Diary,

I've taken the picture of my subject but I am wandering what media to choose.

I though in the beginning to use oil painting but it's to straight forward. Oil painting no dout is very detail and precise but you need to be the best in details to make the art look realistic. Water colour is to common. Poster colour to modern. Crayon or pastel to messy. Marker to commercial looking....I don't know, I am just to picky.

I wan't to find a media that is unexpected. And I need to get it started soon. Hhhmmm, need to go to art museum.....

Blog you later....hehehe

I've got an idea!

Dear Art Diary,

I've figured out a subject to draw but I would need to collect materials and pictures of the subject. Can't tell you the subject yet it's a surprise. Any how I will be posting my research to you soon, hopefully, it will act as hints for you :-)

So stay tune.

Dear Art Diary

It's been quite a while since I last made art. I've decided to give it a restart again cause I'd thought I'd do something I love and also I've been greatly inspired by my sister in-law and good friend Dolly, an artist herself. Funny how when 2 people can live such a different life and yet have the same interest and found each other by marrying men that are brothers.

As a tribute to art that I will be making, I have decided to post them in my blog.

I hope you love it.
